Cacao - "The Food of the Gods"

Yes it's true - Chocolate is a superfood!

But of course, not all chocolate is created equal.

The difference between Cacao and Cocoa powder is that Cacao is raw, the purest form of chocolate. Cocoa can nutritious too, but due to being roasted (heated), this process ultimately reduces its nutritional value and decreases the active enzymes.

Cacao is thought to be the highest source of antioxidants of all foods and the highest source of magnesium of all foods. We like magnesium when we're working out because it helps block calcium to the muscles (which contributes to that soreness post workout) and helps to relax our muscles.

Cacao is also rich in antioxidants (hello cancer fighters and anti-agers!), reduces inflammation, improves blood flow and lowers blood pressure! Not to mention it is high in IRON & rich in calcium as well.

This superfood can also help alleviate depression due to its tryptophan content - foods that make us happy are my favourite!

This special powder contains 300 noteable compounds including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and phytonutrients. In summary, Cacao is high in magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, beta-carotene and omega 6 fatty acids, AND others so that your body can perform at it's optimal level.
